When an employee files a claim or an inspection arrives, what counts is what you can prove. The Federal Labor Law reform published on May 1, 2026 requires employers to record each employee’s working hours electronically (art. 132, sec. XXXIV). The general rules from the Labor Ministry (STPS) that define its scope take effect on January 1, 2027.

Can I stop using time clocks?
Yes. Each employee clocks in and out with the Android app on their own phone, with location and optional photo. You buy, install and maintain no hardware at any site.
Does PPanel record the clock-in location?
Yes. Every clock-in stores date, time, person and the geolocation where it happened. If you enable it, it also stores a photo as evidence.
Does it work for outsourcing companies?
Yes. You manage staff assigned to different clients and sites, and each client gets a portal to review the compliance of the staff you provide.
Does it work for field or remote teams?
Yes. They record clock-ins, incidents and requests from the mobile app and every entry keeps its date, time and responsible person.
Does the app work offline?
Yes. Without signal, records are saved on the phone and sent automatically when the connection returns.
Does subscribing to PPanel release me from the reform’s obligations?
No. PPanel is a technology tool for recording and management. Compliance with the Federal Labor Law, including the 40-hour reform and the recording of working hours, remains the responsibility of each employer: you must make sure your staff record their attendance, configure your schedules properly and review your records. Consult your labor attorney.
Are my records useful in a labor inspection?
PPanel keeps every record with full traceability (who, when and where) and makes it searchable and exportable. Legal validity depends on your case, so we recommend checking it with your legal advisor.
