Trekk System app terms of use

These terms apply to people who use the Trekk System app (employees, supervisors and other users authorized by their company). By installing or using the app, you confirm that you have read and accept them.

1. Who is who

• Your company or employer decides to use PPanel, sets your schedules and is the controller of your personal data.
• Trekk System is the technology provider and acts as processor: it handles your data only to operate the service, under your company’s instructions. Trekk System is not your employer and does not decide sanctions or working conditions.

2. What data the app uses and why

• Identification: your name, your login account and, if applicable, your profile photo.
• Location: when you record check-in, check-out or activities, the app stores where the record was made. For supervisors, the company may request their current location, and the app responds according to the permissions you granted on your device.
• Camera and photos: if your company requires it, a photo is taken as evidence of the record or an activity.
• Work records: clock-ins, incidents, requests (leave, vacations), ratings, notices and logs.

This data is used to record your attendance and activities, so your company can meet its labor obligations and manage its operation, and, if your company provides services to clients, to show them the compliance of the assigned staff.

3. Device permissions

The app may ask for location, camera and notification permissions. Without them, some functions, such as recording attendance with location, may be unavailable. You can change permissions in your device settings, but your company may require them for attendance recording.

4. Your commitments when using the app

• Use only your own account and do not share your password.
• Record only your real attendance and activities.
• Do not fake or alter your location, photos or data.
• Take care of your device and tell your supervisor if you lose access or the app fails.

Misuse of the app, such as impersonating someone or falsifying records, is the responsibility of whoever does it and may have employment consequences under your company’s policies and the law.

5. Trekk System’s responsibility

Trekk System provides the technology tool “as is” and aims for it to work well, but does not guarantee it is free of faults or interruptions, which also depend on your connection, your device and GPS. Trekk System is not responsible for your company’s employment decisions, for your employer’s failure to meet its legal obligations, or for misuse of the app by users.

6. Your rights over your data

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, cancellation and objection (ARCO) with your company, which is the controller. Trekk System will support your company in handling them. You can also write to us at info@trekksystem.com. More information in the Privacy notice.

7. Changes

We may update these terms and will inform you through the app or your company when the change is significant.
