Privacy notice

At Trekk System (“Trekk System”, “we”) we value your privacy. This notice explains what personal data we collect through this website, what we use it for, who we share it with and how you can exercise your rights, in accordance with Mexico’s Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties.

1. Data controller

Trekk System is responsible for processing the personal data you provide through this site. For any privacy matter, write to info@trekksystem.com. The controller’s address is provided to anyone who requests it at that same email.

2. Personal data we collect

• Data you give us in the contact form: name, company, email, phone, city (optional), headcount, type of operation and the message you write.
• Technical data generated when you submit the form: IP address, approximate location derived from the IP (city, region and country), internet provider, date and time, and language.

We do not collect sensitive personal data through this site.

3. Purposes

Necessary: to handle your request, send you the information, demo or quote you asked for, and protect the site against spam, abuse and fraud.

Additional: to follow up commercially about PPanel and send you related information. If you do not want us to use your data for these additional purposes, say so in your message or write to info@trekksystem.com; this will not affect how we handle your request.

4. Who we share your data with

We do not sell your data. Providers of hosting, email and approximate IP-based location services may process it solely to operate the site and handle your request. We will share data with other third parties only with your authorization or when the law requires it.

5. Your rights

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, cancellation and objection (ARCO), withdraw your consent or limit the use or disclosure of your data by emailing info@trekksystem.com with your name, the specific request and a way to contact you. We will reply within the time limits set by law.

If you believe your data protection rights have been violated, you may go to the competent authority on the matter, currently Mexico’s Ministry of Anti-Corruption and Good Governance (Secretaría Anticorrupción y Buen Gobierno).

6. Cookies and similar technologies

This site uses no advertising or third-party tracking cookies. We only store your language preference in your browser.

7. Retention and security

We keep your data while we handle your request and the business relationship lasts, and for the periods required by law. We apply reasonable administrative, technical and physical security measures, such as encrypted connections (HTTPS), access control and protection against automated submissions.

8. Data of employees who use PPanel

When a company subscribes to PPanel, that company is the data controller of its employees’ data (including clock-ins, location and photo evidence) and must give them its own privacy notice. Trekk System acts as technology provider and processor, and handles that data only under the company’s instructions. See the Trekk System app terms of use.

9. Children and teenagers

This site is aimed at businesses and does not knowingly collect data from minors.

10. Changes to this notice

We will post any change on this page with its update date.
